Highly recommend this location. Read the other great reviews for details - we agree with all of them! Great location for art galleries, museums, 2 grocery stores around the corner, trams and train station close, canal up the street with lovely cafe overlooking the water and a fab espresso shop just doors away. As well, some fabulous restaurants less than a block - try them all! The host was very accommodating and helpful. */ With the big couch in the living area, this place comfortably sleeps 3. The rooms were large and the kitchen fully equipped. We love to cook when we travel and everything was right there or around the corner at the grocery stores or bakeries. Take away full meals only a few doors from the grocery store as well. So easy to get around and so beautiful. We spent an afternoon taking photos of hidden public gardens in the neighbouring streets and took photos of store fronts and signage. We rarely went indoors as the weather was warm and welcoming.

We are so glad we chose this lovely apartment for our Christmas holiday. We felt at home right away, as the pleasant and helpful owner had lit numerous candles to greet us, and set up tasteful Christmas decorations. The apartment is beautifully furnished, well-equipped, cosy, warm, and spotlesssly clean. The queen-sized bed is very comfortable. The photo and video of the bedroom don't do it justice - it's so much nicer than it looks! The location is quiet, yet very convenient - interesting shops, supermarkets, pubs, cafés, and restaurants are all over the neighborhood, you can walk to many sights, and tram stops are nearby. This is a great apartment in our favorite area in Amsterdam.

We stayed in this flat in Jordaan for 4 night in May and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The host met us at the door with the keys about 5 minutes after we arrived and showed up around the place, gave us a few instructions. It is on the ground level which makes access easy in and out, there are tenants that live upstairs but noise was never an issue. This flat quickly became our home away from home while in Amsterdam and was a very nice quiet place to getaway and relax when weren't out and about sightseeing. The kitchen has everything you'd need and we ended up buying some items at a local grocery store (about 2 blocks away) and eating a meal or two at home during the day to save money on eating out. The bed was very comfortable and I belive they described it as only being a double but I would say it was closer to a queen sized bed which was appreciated since my husband and I are used to sleeping in a king bed. The location of this flat coudln't be in a better area of the city. The Jordaan area has a more neighborhood feel which is very neat to experience the way locals live. Everyone was very friendly and spoke mainly dutch but all knew english as well. There are numerous restaurants all within 2-3 blocks and the canal is about a 2 minute walk. The flat ended up being such a nice place to stay, I found myself not minding spending more time there and just in the 5-6 blocks in the flat's area in Jordaan rather than the rest of the city. It was a wonderful experience in an amazing city and would recommend this place to all!

A lovely bright, clean, reasonably quiet apartment in a great location! Quiet location but very close to some great pubs and restaurants, quirky shops of all kinds. Bank machines, grocery stores, laundromat weekend famers market just around the corner. 20 min walk, 10 min bike to train station, majority of tourist spots walkable. Hosts are easily contacted if any concerns or questions. Only thing that wasn't perfect was the back patio which gets no sun so isn't very inviting. Luckily there is a canal-side pub with patio just down the street that gets the evening sun!

Found this apartment absolutely perfect for what we were looking for - a romantic break for two. It was very close to the town centre, supermarkets conveniently located 5 min walk away, beautifully finished and very quiet. The owner was super nice and so helpful. I couldnt recommend this place highly enough. You wont be disappointed, great value in a beautiful neighbourhood.
